Dungannon Rugby Football Club is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Ireland and offers some of the highest quality rugby facilities both on and off the field. Currently competing in Division 2B of the Energia All-Ireland League, DRFC provides rugby through our adult men’s, adult women’s, youth, mini and special needs tag sections.
Dungannon RFC are currently inviting applicants for the role of Director of Rugby, the post holder will be primarily responsible for the implementation of the club’s strategic rugby plan whilst coaching the men’s senior team and supporting the development of the club’s women’s, youth, and mini sections. Developing and enhancing key relationships throughout the local schools and community will be an essential part of the role.
The successful candidate will hold or be working towards an IRFU performance coach award or equivalent alongside a proven track record in coaching players at national competition level or above (IRFU LTPD stage 4 or above). The candidate should also have experience in developing players at stages 2 and 3 of the IRFU LTPD.

The post is being offered on a full-time basis with two-year fixed term contract in the initial instance – this will be reviewed during year two.
