To our players, members, volunteers and friends,
It has indeed been a strange and challenging year for all of us both on and off the field of play, but perhaps it has been in these days that has seen the best of us as a club. During and since the lockdown a willing group of volunteers has done some excellent work in our bar and dining area and with it nearing completion we look forward to welcoming everyone back to our new look Stevenson Park, which is now a facility of which we can all be rightly proud. To everyone who has given so generously of their time and finances towards the works, words cannot sufficiently express our gratitude, but we can only say thank-you all.
To all our volunteers who worked tirelessly to provide a safe rugby environment in the early part of the season we would like to offer a big thank-you. There were extensive additional requirements to ensure both our players and fans were safe around the club and on the pitch and for your unrelenting commitment we would again like to express our appreciation.
To our sponsors who have once again stepped up in these most challenging of circumstances, we would like to say thanks for your continued and generous support, and if we could ask all our members to support our sponsors where possible, as they continue to support us.
With the new lockdown being almost on us, it looks like it will be into February before we see our players out on the field again, but we look forward to that day coming with much anticipation and we all know it will be worth the wait when rugby gets up and running again.
That just remains for us to wish you and all your families a happy and peaceful Christmas and a prosperous and healthy 2021.
Your general committee
