RSD Start Season On a High Against Limavady GS
Match Report
On Saturday RSD headed to Limavady with a variety of experience and a number of young players new to senior rugby. RSD started well with a number of impressive defensive and attacking plays, the first try came from the forwards intense work rate and a bit of individual class from Jono Shrestha. The next try came from Nicholas Graham after breaking down Limavady’s defence, furthermore Luke McMullan added another try! After sustained periods of pressure Nicholas broke the defensive line and ran through for his second! After HT RSD came out with the ambition of keeping up the superb defence from the forwards and backs, Nicholas graham formed a strong partnership with Ben Nicholl and Dylan Durton to run in two more tries! With a young team on to finish the game, superb work from the forwards and a wide, flat pass from Adam Evans sent David Maxwell through to add a seventh try. Luke McMullan converted 4/7 conversions to leave the scoreline at 43-0. This is a great foundation for the season ahead!
