DRFC's last pre match lunch gathering will be this Saturday 30th March with guest speaker Phillip Eaglesham. Phillip played for Dungannon in the early 2000s before joining the Royal Marines.
Born and raised in Dungannon, Phil went on to become a Royal Marines Commando. On his final tour of duty in Afghanistan, he contracted a debilitaing disease, leaving him wheelchair bound and requiring care. An Irish Paralympian, Phil competed in the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. He is an advocate for mental health, having supported the Royal Foundations Headstogether Campaign. Founder of Conquering Horizons Ltd, having developed “Omni” a revolutionary new mobility device, launching in March 2024. 13 years on from contracting a debilitating disease, life for Phil has changed dramatically!
This is open to all club members and friends of Dungannon to attend and is defiantly one not to miss.
